I get fidgety when I'm not driving and end up taking a lot of phone pictures and videos. It's amazing we haven't gotten into an accident. (I have this thing and it's weird, but I know it's weird: I make these little movies on my phone, or camera, and tell bf, "This'll make me really sad if you die unexpectedly. Or it'll make you really sad if I do." They're stupid little 15 second things, like me blowing a kiss or him waving hello, but that thing has been so deeply ingrained in the culture--in cinema--that you can't help but think it'll be playing at a funeral. He goes along with me. Does he really even have a choice?)
The view just around a curve on the way home (we live by the water, so everything is.... expansive).
Also, have you all been reading the Daniel Clowes comic, Mr. Wonderful, in the New York Times? It's just getting good.

That's weird - everytime someone used to have a video camera around us years ago, my friends would always say, "Well, now someone from this group's gotta die soon."
We didn't, of course. But I wish we hadn't taken those videos anyway - mostly just because I used to wear a lot of really bad clothes.

I agree about the flowers very Austenian and people should do it more! Though my friends already think I was born in the wrong century.
The video/picture thing -- I do that all. the. time. Except I don't always tell the bf/friend/whoever I'm taking pictures with. And yet I'm morbidly thinking it nevertheless.
Thee cat looks less than amused, haha, & that video habit is a bit odd, I don't generally think of funeral video montages.

The idea of those scenes you're shooting are so poignant in that context...
ha ha, i'm sure you will come up with an elaborate way to jolt our economy. We better get out of this thing by the time I go to England!

Kitty in a bag looks better than Posh (though, unlike her, your cat will actually be cuter once it's out of the bag).
