Splendorous Rings

I've got some interesting things to post about this week, but they're not quite ready yet. In the meantime, I found some pretty amazing rings whilst trolling ebay. (aka not doing the work I get paid to do)
Caveat: While, of course, I love the big, beautiful diamonds, there's something about those misfit costume rings that really tug at my heart.

Vintage Diamond Flower ring c. 1960, $99, no bids

Vintage Glass Ring, right now $7.99 w/ one bid

Vintage Sterling Red/Orange/ Yellow ring, $3.25 w/ 3 bids

Vintage Pearl, Platinum and Diamond Ring, $935 (no bids)

Vintage Enamel/ Sterling adjustable ring, $23.49 w/ 5 bids

Lapis/ Ruby Vintage Ring, $450 (Buy it now)

White coral Rose ring, $5.50 w/ 2 bids
(So cool!)

10K Vintage Tanzanite Ring, $21.75, 4 bids

I kind of like the tanzanite, though it looks to be of a less desirable color.

I know nothing about stone quality. I'm more of a sucker for design. I like the brick wall-ness of it.

Yeah, I like that aspect of it too. The most valuable tanzanite are a deep blue violet. The lighter it is, the less valuable it is, but I really like lavender tanzanite in some pieces. And it's so much cheaper!
