Halloween Corner

My second favorite holiday fast approaches and I think it deserves more than one measly day of recognition, don't you? A Halloween themed post a day, I say!

Day the first comes courtesy of Wendy's sharp eye:

Sabrina Dehoff Cat Mask Necklace, $255.
(I am considering this as my signature piece. I really love something about it!)

1. College became a breeding ground for the most innovative and/ or slutty costumes. I've long since lost the photo, but as a Sophomore full of ennui, I was a dead ringer for Gwyneth Paltrow as Margot Tenenbaum. A borrowed ratty fake fur coat and five pounds of eyeliner later, I was in full character. My method costuming was interrupted by a bottle of whiskey which made the rounds. What? Margot always seemed like a hard drinker to me.
Anyhow, this particular bottle of whiskey (and the unfortunate pickle-vomit experience that followed) was my incentive to take it easy "experiencing" all that college had to offer.

Now I'm a Shirley temple girl :

Er... I meant this kind:

What was your best costume?

@ Gwyneth..."bitch stole my style!"
I don't know if I can approve of a non-WendyB signature piece, but if you insist....! *sigh* I'm laughing about Shirley and her temples.

I love that necklace, and I LOVE the site "Senses of Cinema".

My best costume, hands down, was my 80's aerobics instructer outfit! Bright leotard and tights, with legwarmers and pink make up - I just had so much fun in it!

Happy Halloween. Nice write-up and interesting pictures. For a different look this Halloween, try colored gemstones. Check-out ANGARA

Oh that necklace is great and unique!
Halloween is awesome, but it's only really popular in north america so i'm missing out this year!

Oh, Wendy, I meant a signature piece sort of in my price range. Of course when I am, oh, 30 (?) and fabulous, I'll be rocking your latest royal necklace. (Maybe a Gwynevere?)
Sorry I forgot to link you... it's fixed now! (My subconcious assumes--correctly, I believe---that everyone here knows who you are!)

Riz: The site is relatively new to me, but I see myself whiling away the hours there.

Lady N: Bonus points to you for being the only on to answer the question! Great costume. Very Olivia Newton-John.

Sonal: Thanks! I'll check out the site.

Jen: Oh you poor thing! I'll try to inundate you with Halloween.

I'm going to have to figure out how to make mini versions of everything for all my blogging friends. But...Jebus...some people really have to be paying practically nothing for labor when even a crappy 18K chain costs $50-$70 wholesale now!

I love the necklace, but I can't say anything about Halloween because here in Spain we don't celebrate it! anyway, happy halloween for you all!

love the necklace. my best costume was definitely when I was very little and requested to be a cake. My mother made me a cake costume using cardboard and everything, I wore a little crown of birthday candles. it was brilliant...

Aw...a cake! How cute. I was an Oreo once.

WendyB: The things is, I know your jewelry warrants the price you set! Though I can't say a less expensive mini line is a bad idea to me :)
Us bloggers haven't made out fortunes yet, sadly.

Atelier: That makes me very, very sad!

Clothes Horse: Ah! SO CUTE. The crown of candles sounds so chic!
