I couldn't find a picture before, but just hunted one down of this watch:
which the wonderful bf got me for Christmas last year (in teal). It's got a negative/ positive display that changes at the twelves (ie the numbers are dark, the background light at midnight and vice versa). The thing I probably love most about this watch though is the way it tells time, which you can see on the photo. It brings back dear childhood memories of driving my mom crazy. I went through a phase (her "agita" phase) during which, when asked the time, I would say, "Oh? Um, 8 til." Or, "The time, you say? 39 after." At which point she would get comically red in the face and tell me not to do that, to just tell her the time in the correct way.
Ah, the good old days.
Also, this site has painfully cool watches.

Wow, I love that it does the "10 till.." thing. That's amazing.
Right? I love it too. And the watch it teal is a sight to behold.kmmit
I can see how that could be annoying, but I love it all the same!

That is a marvellous watch, did your boyfriend buy it from the site that you mentioned in your post?
Lillan: Thanks!
Shaz: Thank you! He got it from the fossil site, where the Starck watch (mentioned in my post) can be found. I'll post a pic of the teal as soon as my camera is charged!
