On Saturday, my mom, a friend and I went to the Knickerbocker Ice Festival up at Rockland Lake. I know there was something educational to be gleaned from the whole affair, but it was so fucking freezing that the best I could do was get a couple of pictures. Below are some of the incredible ice sculptures set up around the lake. Most of them were ships.... wish I could tell you why!

Brrrrr! Let's cheer ourselves up by doing drinks again.
Here's hoping your tax return can buy you ALL of those goodies!
Always such pretty finds. Especially love that solo necklace.
such pretty stacking rings. and yeah, i'm OVER the cold!
Hi. I was looking for press about our gig (we played the next day at the Ice Festival- www.thestateworkers.com ) and came across your lovely photos of the ice and birds and stuff! So thank you.
BTW the boats were ice models of the boats used by the two first white guys to sail down the Hudson River, who then begin gypping the natives (a trend that never fell out of fashion, so to speak).
allright then.
OMG those ice sculptures are gorgeous and the pieces you picked amazing.
Also hope you can get some tax return...
xoxo
