I'm stashing some money away so I can head to Brooklyn Flea next month, the new flea market that's open every Sunday (rain or shine) in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. My deepest loves include all things available at flea markets, garage and yard sales... vintage clothes, old timey jewelry, knick knacks... The idea of finding some hidden treasure=my siren call.
Here are some lovely pieces from the jewelry vendors listed on the Brooklyn Flea website:
Magda Bracelet by Gabriela de la Vega, $1300
Enamel Flowers with Pearl Earrings by Teresa Kahres
Megan's Strawflower Adornment at Bonbon Oiseau, $288
Red Peony Necklace by Gavin and Lily, $65
Tiny Wave Necklace by Odette NY, $95 (Large, $132)
Yuzen Earrings by Yova Designs
Forest Nymph Necklace by Eswera Jewelry, $80

Every time I hit up a flea market, I wish I had a bigger place. So many cool things...ah well.
That last necklace is my favorite. I love when jewelery mixes elements like stones & fabric.
The Peony is my favorite.
pretty hair thingie!
Oh, loveliness..Why are some of them so expensive, though?! I LIVE for flea markets but I prefer when you have to really DIG for the treasure (rendering it cheaper and also cooler). Btw, been getting lots of compliments on the jewelery you sent me in our little trade. The vintage peach colored granny necklace has gone over extremely well, so thank you kindly madam!
I've seen some of the de la Vega items before and would love to see them in person. Do report back on those if you can!
I lurrrrve that necklace! Great find!
Just great things...
I'm in love with the Pearl earrings and the Peony necklace.
xx
all of it seems so gorgeous, but so expensive
Everything looks good. I love the red peony necklace, looks so great!

Your blog is really nice and I'd love to do a link exchange with you. Please contact me about it later!
The peony is great.
