In a Little Dream

It's almost blasphemy, but if somebody offered to buy me a no-price-limit gift, instead of jewelry, I might choose one of these pieces from the Traveler series by the artist duo of Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz...

Wow! I've never desired a snow globe like I do these! Such strange peacefulness I feel when I gaze into one.

Yay snowglobes. I love them. I wanted to get a snowglobe of the Duomo (sp?) in Florence, but the mean people at Charles d'Gaule airport threw it away. Why oh why did I leave it in my carry-on?

Anne: Same here, even though the images are a little subversive. Still so perfectly serene.

Lynn: Oh, how sad! Dumb airport-non-snow-globe lovin' people!

The dresses in the trees is really stunning. And those snow globes are really lovely, definitly would make me re-think the usual tackiness associated with snow globes.
