Today was an un-fun personal day: mom's BF had the cancer removing surgery. It was a five and a half hour procedure, during which time my mom, grandma and I managed to hit the cafeteria twice (and I sampled two different kinds of hospital cake), and the gift shop once. The biopsy results won't be back for a while, but it's nice to know this went over without much of a hitch. The nurse described his kidney as "large and disgusting." And here I was concerned that the medical jargon would go over our heads. I have to head back up tomorrow, so one more day without posts.
Friday Favorites will rock this week. Promise. (Also, do we want $30 and Under, or $100 and Under?)
