What a day! The bf's birthday is fast approaching, but I truly thought I was set on presents... until the biggest one didn't show. After two weeks of speaking with this incredibly unhelpful woman (every day!) at the store I purchased from, I was so frustrated, I had to tell him (bf). I'm bummed it can't be a surprise, but there wasn't much else I could do--I needed his help. It looks like someone in the building stole the box, so we had to get the super involved as well. I finally just requested a refund yesterday; I had a contingency plan, but needed the cash back. The woman I had been dealing with called me at 5 last night and told me all was taken care of. Then, we went to withdraw money for rent and I see that not only has she not refunded it, she charged me again! $260!! TWICE. No product!!! In case you wondering, this was the prez:

We found another set on ebay, so now I'm just waiting out my refund. Sometimes people are just so disappointing, you know?
Anyhow, I know you people only care about the jewelry! Here we go...
80's bangles from Grandma's Church Fair aka best place to pick up vintage stuff, pearl earrings that have been hanging around forever. Wearing a purple peasant-esque blouse and denim skirt. Every full outfit pic I was took came out blurry. Then my co-worker wandered in to ask what I was doing, so I couldn't retake a clear one.
("Uh, doing? Nothing. Oh, the camera? Oh, uh, the plants! Taking pictures of the plants!")

You need to kick ass and take names over this. I don't care whose name...just find a name and take it! Jeez! Well, at least he knows you tried!
I have really long list of names and I'm trying to kick ass over the phone... it's just not working. As much as I hate it, I felt like the bf, as a man, could get some more attention. It sucks! I'm no shrinking violet, but... I honestly can't believe I got such bad service either. He thought I had bought something on ebay, or at some little one person thing, but when I told him that it was actually from a store that has been around for several decades, he was shocked... Grr. Anyhow. Thanks for complimenting outfit/ jewelry. I liked it today too.
Oh, there are so many times when a male voice gets better results! Grrr.
