Today's Jewelry: Not too cold

-Green ball drop earrings, F21
-Marcasite ring, Nordstrom?
-Favorite black zippy, skinny blue denims, satin ballet flats
-Hair pulled back because it's driving me crazy

I totally get why fashion shoots are rarely held in offices.

Cute earrings. I'm glad you're showing the hair who is boss.

Ha! I tried to do a wardrobe remix shot in my office the other day. Did. Not. Work.

rofl re. office shoots.

not laughing, however, about satin flats (*playfully tapping my foot with mock impatience*). is it raining where you are?

WB: Thanks, lady! Actually the bobby pins and hairspray are playing bad cop, but... whatecer gets the job done, right?

Ambika: Ya, the lighting seems to be universally AWFUL in offices!

Editor: Er...not raining right this second....? You know, I'll even agree with you on this one. I didn't realize it was going to rain. I wouldn't go out of my way to ruin a pair of cute flats even in my hurry to avoid socks!

Yeah, you look great. Working-from-home fashion shoots don't exist because I am in a GNR t-shirt, flannel PJ bottoms, and a hoodie, and have been since yesterday.

Ohhh, i just read a splendid piece on brooches and how to wear them, display them in an old Vogue. SO I am really inspired by this affordable piece, and i happen to love starbursts...
